Maximize Your Searches with Wildcard
What Is a Wildcard Search?
By default, all REALFacts search fields look for exact matches. When you're dealing with complex Guam legal descriptions, an exact match can be hard to get right.
The solution: use the asterisk (*) as a wildcard character. Place a * anywhere in your search string to substitute for unknown or variable characters. This returns a broader set of results and helps you find records even when the formatting is uncertain.
Check out this property search example that uses the wildcard function (*)
EXAMPLE: 19-NEW-REM-5-1NEW-R2
SEARCH: *19*New*Rem*5*1*New*R*2*
